Sean Wheeler earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications degree from the University of Miami, FL. After graduating, Sean quickly began work with CNN in Atlanta, where he remained until launching a new and rewarding career as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2003.
Sean was trained and received certification at Hypnosis Institute International in Atlanta, GA. He is a Certified Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, widely acknowledged as the number one association in the field of hypnosis, and does annual continuing education to maintain his training at a high level.
Code of Ethics
As a Certified Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, Sean Wheeler practices in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Standards. If you ever have a complaint about his services or behavior that he cannot resolve for you personally, you may contact the National Guild of Hypnotists at P.O. Pure Hypnosis, LLC
Sean Wheeler founded Pure Hypnosis, LLC in the spring of 2003, and has been helping residents of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and South Carolina ever since. He has also worked long-distance with clients as far away as California via phone and webcam. His hypnosis audio programs have sold throughout the United States and abroad.
My Approach
I believe that people have the ability to make changes on their own, without the assistance of drugs or chemicals. Because I believe that you know yourself better than I will ever know you, my role is to serve as a guide, opening new doors and introducing you to new possibilities and perspectives. Your responsibility is to take those opportunities, make choices for yourself and take action.
My greatest influence has been Milton H. Erickson, M.D., who likewise believed in the ability of his patients to learn and make changes with the proper guidance and assistance. This approach is the most respectful of you as the individual (client/patient), since the therapist does not presume to know more about what is in your best interest than you yourself know.

Rates for Services and Programs
My standard rate is $150/session. I also offer multi-session programs starting at $397 for three sessions. There are set prices for programs for smoking cessation ($397) and weight loss ($397-$950).
If your issues are outside of those specific programs, I will give you an estimate for number of sessions and cost prior to beginning our work together... based on information I receive from you about your history and goals. The choice is always yours as to whether to take it one session at a time, or to choose one of the available programs.
